Kicking it in to high gear.
So the nice weather is here so I got up this morning took Aiden to the bus with Braidleigh in the stroller and then just kept on walking. We walked for 1.5 hours it was awesome. I would of kept going but Braidleigh was getting restless in the stroller and I had to go and pick up Aiden from school because he and I had dentist appts. I was in the mood for more walking later in the day and walked over to pick up Grace from her mom's for the weekend. We walked to the park and all around the neighbourhood. The kids played with alot of the other children they had a blast. I go home and figured out that I had earned 7 activity points today alone and I got to thinking. I was reading a magazine article about the biggest looser contestants and then I found some of them on facebook, I was pleasently suprised when they accepted my friends request. I find alot ot the women on the show very inspiring especially Tara, she is a force to be reconed with. So it dawned on me that if these ppl can loose 10lbs in a week on the ranch, what is stopping me from loosing 5lbs at week at home. I am already loosing an average of 2lbs a week just by eating within the proper amount of calories, Imagine what I could do it I started to really work out. The kids where in bed so I couldn't go out for another walk... I so wish I had a treadmill. I went down stairs to dig out my form shaper, it was a workout in it's self just to get it out from under the stairs. Once I did I started using it and Immediately remembered why I hated it, the bottom of the back rest dug in to the tale bone something fierce.. owch. So I thought there has to be something else I could be doing for exercise, I thought about getting out some of my videos that i have bought over the years but I didn't want to stop moving to look for them. I then started to jog on the spot and I did that for about 10 mins and we to the kitchen to get large can of food to use as a weight and alternated working out my arms after another 15min, I was still wishing I could go outside. Because the kids where in bed and Mike was at work I could not leave but that didn't mean I could not walk outside so out I went. I power walked back and forth 2 houses in each direction around and around. Good think it was 11:00 at night because the neighbours if they seen me would of thought I was a nut. But I got in a great work out and earned another 3 activity points today for total of 10 points. The kids and I are going to walk again tomorrow morning and then we are going to the zoo tomorrow afternoon we will get in alot of walking there also. I am so stoked ... My goal for this week is to earn 40 activity points. I'm well on my way.
